TYSL PLAYOFF PROGRAM
The TYSL play-offs is designed to give the TYSL Troy house teams the opportunity to play in a tournament style play-off.
YOUR TEAM'S POSITION IN THE PLAY-OFFS
In the Play-offs your team is assigned a new team number based on the team's finishing position at the end of the regular Spring Season.
For example, if the Royals team number 2 in a single division age group finish in fourth place, they become team number 4 on the Play-off Matrix.
If your age group has four divisions, and your team is team number 6 in the second division, and the team finishes in tenth place, your new team number is 10 on the Play-off Matrix.
YOUR PLAY-OFF TEAM NUMBER WILL BE ASSIGNED TO YOUR TEAM BY THE
POSTED DIVISION RESULTS ON THE TYSL WEB SITE. DO NOT ASSUME YOUR PLACE IN THE PLAYOFFS ''
LOCATING YOUR GAMES ON THE PLAY-OFF MATRIX AND PLAY-OFF SCHEDULE
1) Contact your Division Representative to verify your finishing position at the end of the regular Spring Season, and to
verify the time and field of all your Play-off games.
2) Locate the proper Play-off Matrix for your team by turning to the matrix for the same number of teams that are in your age group.
For example, if your age group has 6 teams turn to page 1 of the Play-off Matrix. In round 1 there are two games, 3 v 6, and 4 v 5. The 2 v C games is the first game listed in the round. This is Play-off Round 1, Game A. The 4 v 5 game is the second game listed in the round. This is Play-off Round 1 Game B.
3) Locate your Play-off games on the Master Schedule by looking for the game code, which includes the Age Group, Gender, Playoff Round and Play-off Round Game Letter.
