Please submit any scheduling requests you have before the schedule is prepared. E-mail these requests to Dick Marx rlmarx@wideopenwest.com. The deadline for these requests is August 14. If you submit requests during this period, there is a chance they will be incorporated into the schedule. Examples: No games on Tuesdays; Can’t play before 11:00 am on Saturdays; Can’t play week of September 14-20; etc.
A “preliminary” schedule will be posted on August 18. You will have until August 25 to request schedule changes. This will give you another week to discover all the scout/school/church conflicts for your team. After that, schedule change requests will be CONSIDERED only for extreme circumstances not existing before August 25 AND must be received at least 10 DAYS BEFORE the original game date. ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
After August 14, game rescheduling requests must be submitted to the scheduler through the TYSL website (www.tysl.org) using the Rescheduling Form.
IMPORTANT: Before submitting an online schedule change request, please contact the opposing coach and make sure you both agree on two possible dates, times, and fields. You can check field availability by checking the online schedule which is updated anytime there is a change. Once you have agreed on two available alternate dates, go to the website, click on the “scheduling tab” then click on “rescheduling form,” complete and submit.
Games cancelled by referees MAY be rescheduled. DO NOT RESCHEDULE THE GAME WITH THE REFEREE. Follow the instructions above to reschedule the game.
Coaches cannot cancel a game! The only exception is if the referee does not show up and a volunteer referee from either team cannot be found. Again, follow instructions above to reschedule the game.
